The Lakewood Civic Association has been working with the City to build a Dog Park for our neighborhood, and with input from residents there\u2019s also a potential to include a separate play area for children or teens and perhaps even a walking track. A park would be a great enhancement for Lakewood which could increase home values and make Lakewood an even more desirable location to live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We need your attendance to make this project happen. Please join us on <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-amber-color\">Monday, September 12<sup>th<\/sup> at 6 pm at the Fire Training Field, located at 7022 Bayway Drive<\/mark><\/strong>. The City of Baytown will be providing information and soliciting input. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where to locate the park is key to having a safe, accessible location that takes into account the needs of the park users as well as the effect the park will have on neighbors and the environment. If you would like to sell items at your home and have your address listed, please send an email to <a href=\"mailto:garagesale@lakewoodcivic.org\">garagesale@lakewoodcivic.org<\/a>&nbsp; There is no fee to participate and yard signs are available to LCA members upon request.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>October 4<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 Neighborhood Night Out from 6 pm \u2013 8 pm at Travis Park. Everyone in the neighborhood is invited and there will be food, games, prizes and more.
