{"id":3627,"date":"2024-09-05T16:56:13","date_gmt":"2024-09-05T16:56:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lakewoodcivic.org\/?p=3627"},"modified":"2024-09-26T12:06:38","modified_gmt":"2024-09-26T12:06:38","slug":"a-night-of-fun-at-a-baytown-little-theater-performance-free-for-lca-members","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lakewoodcivic.org\/?p=3627","title":{"rendered":"A Night of FUN at a Baytown Little Theater Performance, FREE for LCA members"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Lakewood Civic Association is sponsoring a special performance of Baytown Little Theater&#8217;s &#8220;Queen of Bingo&#8221; on September 26<sup>th <\/sup>for LCA members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the tradition of the hilarious Harvey Korman and Tim Conway sketches from the old Carol Burnett Show, comes the stage comedy&nbsp;<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"><strong>The Queen of Bingo<\/strong>!<\/mark> \u2018Sis\u2019 and \u2018Babe,\u2019 two sisters on the other side of 50, want to add a little fun and excitement to their lives\u2026but where to find it?&nbsp;<strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">BINGO!<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jeanne Michels and Phyllis Murphy\u2019s\u00a0<strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">The Queen of Bingo<\/mark><\/strong>\u00a0explores the worlds of Bingo, family ties, diet crazes, widowhood, hot flashes and winning! The audience joins in the fun during the\u00a0<strong>\u201cMiddle Bird Special\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 a real Bingo game where some lucky audience member will win a\u00a0<strong>Special Gift<\/strong>! There will also be a <strong>Cake Walk<\/strong> ($5) during intermission. Theatregoers young and old will howl with laughter as two zany gals, light up the stage in the comedy hit\u00a0<strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">The Queen of Bingo!<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-light-green-cyan-color\">The show starts at 8 pm and there will be light refreshments available starting at 7 pm. <\/mark>Space is limited to 50 people for this free event.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you would like to attend please respond to this email with your name, if you want 1 or 2 tickets and your phone number.
