Mary Bagwell Resigns the LCA Board in July, Renita Price Appointed to Replace Her

Mary Bagwell, who has served on the LCA board for the past 9 years, decided to resign for personal reasons. Mary also served on the board in the 1990’s. Mary has served as the Secretary for most of the recent time and her contributions will be missed. Thanks Mary!
Per the bylaws, the board has appointed Renita Price to complete the remaining 10 months of Mary’s term. Renita was one of the candidates in the May 2019 election. We thank Renita for her willingness to serve.

No May 2019 LCA Board Meeting

The LCA board will not meet in May because there is a LCA annual meeting the following week on May 14, 2019 @ 7PM at Lakewood Church of Christ.
In the weeks following the annual meeting, a board meeting will be scheduled around the availability of the members of the new board to ensure all are present to elect officers. At that meeting the future routine board meetings will then be set and published shortly afterwards.
