RESCHEDULED to June 11th – LCA Annual Meeting

by on May.30, 2024, under Association News

We hope everyone is safe and well after the derecho storm that greatly impacted Lakewood. As you might be aware we had to cancel our previously planned Lakewood Civic Association (LCA) meeting when the storm blasted through and power went out at the meeting location.

Our ANNUAL MEETING has been rescheduled to TUESDAY, JUNE 11th at 7 pmat the Baytown Fire Training Facility located at 7022 Bayway Drive, just across Bayway from Lakewood. Our guest speakers will be our City Councilman Kenrick Griffith, ‘Toni TNR Tails, Inc.’ owner Toni Graham and ExxonMobil Public Affairs Manager Aaron Stryk.

The LCA is a voluntary organization designed to maintain our neighborhood as a wonderful place to live. Although it is voluntary, the more members we have the more we can accomplish. Our annual meeting is open to ALL Lakewood residents. There will also be prize drawings for LCA members (members do not need to be present to win). If desired, people can join the LCA that evening; membership is only $30: https://lakewoodcivic.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/Lakewood-Civic-Association-Application-Fillable_r2.pdf.

BOAT CLUB registration and key distribution will also take place at these facilities that evening from 6 – 7 pm. If you plan to join the Lakewood Boat Club and have not yet turned in a Boat Club application please use this fillable form and bring it with you:  https://lakewoodcivic.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/LCA-BOAT-CLUB-APPLICATION-Agreement-2024-2025.pdf

We hope to see you on Tuesday, June 11th.
