Lakewood Civic

The Lakewood Yard of the Month of September 2017 is 113 Lakewood Dr., home of  Jo Ellen and Tommy Coker. The Coker’s colorful yard was the final selection for its use of colors, texture, and warmth it exudes.   It looks and feels just like home!

The Lakewood Garden Club has chosen the yard of Trary Slaughter and John Minto at 409 Rollingwood Dr. as the yard of the month for August. This large yard is in a beautiful setting and very welcoming.

The Lakewood Garden Club has chosen the home of Sam & Joanne Springer at 118 Caldwell as the Lakewood Yard of the Month for July. The shaded bed around a group of trees is accented with potted planters of caladiums and whimsical statuary.

The Lakewood Garden Club has chosen the home at 401 S. Burnet as the Yard of the Month for June. The entire family has worked very hard for this honor and they are very excited. Well done! It is a beautiful yard.

The Lakewood Garden Club has chosen the yard at 121 N. Burnet, on the corner of N. Burnet and RedBud as the Yard of the Month for May.

Lakewood Garden Club has chosen the home at 109 Lazy Lane as the Yard of the Month for April. The owners have worked very hard and it shows. It is a beautiful yard.

The Lakewood Garden Club has chosen the yard at 209 Rollingwood Circle as the Yard of the Month for March. This corner yard is in full bloom with large azaleas of many colors.

The Yard of the Month for February is located at 121 Post Oak. The azaleas are in almost full bloom this month, which has been unusually warm.

The Lakewood Garden Club chose the home at 308 Oakhaven as the Yard of the Month for January. This neat yard fared well during the freeze and was nice and green.
