There was a significant increase in both home and vehicle burglaries around the holidays. Let’s start off 2020 with improved security by making sure to lock the doors of your home and your vehicles and setting your home alarm system if you have one. Most of our crime issues can be cured by securing your home and cars.
If you see something suspicious call the Police Dept. (281) 422-8371 and report what you see. Provide as many details as you can, i.e., color, make and model of a vehicle. Give physical details of the individual in question, hair color, what they are wearing, etc. These observations will help the officer replying to the call.

Please note that there has been an increase in both home and vehicle burglaries. Make sure your vehicles are locked and set your home alarm system if you have one. In at least one instance the thieves covered the surveillance cameras and stole the security system DVR. If possible it’s good practice to hide the DVR if it is not continually backed up to cloud recording.
