Lakewood Civic

The Lakewood Garden Club has proudly awarded Yard of the Month to Porter and Mary Jane Warren at 505 Pin Oak. Their yard is graced with lovely large oak trees, and the casual flower beds are accented with variegated gingers and bright yellow mums.

Thanks to Jack Ballard and Melvin Avants for repairing the subdivision sign on Lakewood Drive.

October Garden Club meeting was held at the home of Karin Dickey. Hostesses were Sherri Hunt, Marianne Tucker, Karin Dickey, and Pat Poirot.

Garden Club members enjoy an Autumnal breakfast.

The Lakewood yard of the month for October, 2011 was awarded to John & Cher Floyd at 125 N. Burnett Dr.

The Lakewood Garden Club met at the Service League House on September 21, 2011. Hostesses for this meeting, Jo Hinkle, Peggy Ward, Martha Mayo, Carolyn Buntin and Loretta Johnson are displaying a beautiful breakfast feast for their members.
